This is the perfect work bag. It can hold all your work needs plus more. I recently used it on a business trip. I was a little worried using it as my personal item but it fit perfectly under the seat of the plane. The luggage trolley made traveling through the airport easy. My laptop, mouse and iPad fit in the laptop sleeve with no issue. When used day to day this bag is more than functional for long work days. It can also fit a par of flats or heels with work items inside. I often need to change into flats from heels while walking around downtown. I would recommend this bag to anyone who needs a work or travel tote!

I wanted an organized and freestanding bag that was sturdy enough to tote my laptop, notebook, and water bottle/coffee mug every day, sleek enough for professional environments and versatile enough to serve as an overnight bag, constructed well enough to last me for many years. While I can’t speak to the last point because I’ve only had the bag a month, the Haven hits all the other points. I love its thoughtful, user-friendly design details, among them the inner sleeve, with its myriad pockets and compartments, the magnets that hold the sleeve to the exterior, and the metal feet at the bottom of the bag. The color options range from classic neutrals to more colorful options; I sprang for the hydrangea and its lovely hue is a daily joy for my eyeballs. The color was on sale at the time, too, so the price point was especially palatable. I’m looking forward to using my loyalty points on a second bag.

My only notes for improvement: I’d love to see future models with a small zippered compartment on the exterior bag for a subway pass. And I would really love a longer drop on the bag handles so I could sling them over my shoulder. I use the extendable shoulder strap but it does eventually slip and requires constant adjusting if you’re not wearing the bag cross-body—a bit of a bother if you mostly walk/take public transportation like I do.
