I have the Terra backpack in Obsidian, and loved it so much, I had to get the carryon luggage as well. I love, love, LOVE how it looks, it works perfectly with my compression packing cubes, and I have traveled with it several times already, including internationally this summer. It has so many pockets to keep everything organized, the wheels roll so smoothly, and it is eye catching. I've had folks stop me in two different airports to ask me about my luggage. This, my Terra sling bag and my backpack are headed to Vegas in a couple of weeks.

Although I loved my soft-sided carry-on luggage of 9 years, it was beginning to feel too small and I wanted something that was water resistant. I had the hardest time deciding between soft and hard sided, and I was pleased to find this hybrid Terra Carry-On. I took it on a weekend trip and these are my thoughts. I checked the bag and it only sustained minor scuffing one corner. It was easy to maneuver and I didn't experience any wrist pain/irritation when walking with it. I love that it's expandable and it doesn't fall over when it's packed to capacity. I love that it can be opened in multiple ways. I do wish it came with a packing cube or laundry bag, but I love all the little pockets that are perfect for stashing small items. I normally prefer bright, boldly-colored luggage, but I love the look of this shiny obsidian color; I added some stickers to make it stand out a bit in baggage claim. What I don't quite love: it isn't as water-resistant as I'd like. I got caught in the rain on my way to and from the airport and my items inside were a little damp. The body of this luggage is water resistant, but the zippers are not (for the price, there's no reason why Calpak couldn't have used waterproof zippers). I also don't understand the point of the built-in TSA security lock, when the front mailbox opening has no lock or security ring and grants just as much access to the main compartment. I had to get a little creative with securing this bag (pictured).

Really stylish bag. So many pockets! So much storage! Took it on its first trip (I did check it tho so I can’t comment on its carryon capability, maybe I can update my review in the future) but this suitcase was amazing! Wheels roll silky smooth. Can fit sooo much stuff in it (maybe too much lol)

Love how it looks, love that you can access it from the front AND from the middle, and love a the “compression” compartments / built in features! I could see how there might be TOO MANY compartments for some people but I like having all my little travel item’s organized. The bag is a little pricey but it seems really durable 🤞can’t wait to take it on many more adventures ❤️✈️

I bought the Terra Carry-On and Terra Backpack in Black and I couldn't be happier. At first, I was a little hesitant about the shiny material, but in-person, it's really cool looking. I've taken this collection to Mexico and 6 plane rides within the U.S. I've always carried the pair together, so I've been able to fit 3-4 days of winter clothes (I'm a big over-packer), along with all of my work gear, and toiletries. So far, both bags are holding up nicely. My favorite feature is the ability to open the front of the suitcase vs having to open the middle like a traditional hard case. It makes TSA and last minute adds easy to navigate. Additionally, the soft side allows more flexibility for stuffing odd shaped things into the bag. I wish it was a little more affordable, but you get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend this collection!
