What is your current shipping timeframe?
Once you place your order, it takes 3-8 business days for your items to process and ship. We'll send an email with tracking information as soon as it ships. Depending on your location, standard shipping can take between 2-9 business days for your package to arrive. We can't wait to hear what you think of your CALPAK goodies!

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diner's Club, PayPal, and Apple Pay.
When checking out with Shop Pay, you now have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into 4 equal, biweekly installment payments. How much is shipping?
For orders shipping within the contiguous US, we offer free standard ground shipping for all orders above $75. For orders below the $75 shipping threshold, a $7.95 standard shipping flat rate is applied.
For Hawaii and Alaska orders, we offer a flat rate shipping fee, shipped via FedEx 2Day Air or FedEx Priority Overnight. For luggage and hat boxes, the flat rate shipping fee is calculated per item. The shipping fees are as follows:

Yes! We offer two expedited shipping options: FedEx 2 Day and FedEx Priority Overnight. Please note expedited orders must be placed before 12pm PST for same day processing. Any orders placed after 12pm PST will be processed the next day.

Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to a P.O. Box address. If a P.O. Box is entered at checkout, your order will be cancelled.

Can I cancel or update my order once it's placed?
Once you've placed an order, our system will automatically process it. This means once an order is placed, we are unfortunately unable to make any changes. This includes address changes, color change requests, and order cancellations. If you need to return or exchange an item in your order, please wait until your order arrives and create a return or exchange as soon as you receive it. Why does expedited shipping cost so much?
Our orders are shipped based on dimensional weight. Although our products may not weigh a lot, larger-sized packages take up more space on a truck or plane, which is why it costs more.

Why isn't my promo code working?

I tried to place an order but it didn't go through, but my credit card was charged.
We understand this can be confusing! If you recently attempted to place an order, you'll see an authorization for a "pending charge" on your bank statement. This is a common bank practice that ensures there are sufficient funds while authenticating your account.
If your order was declined, denied, or canceled, this authorization will clear on its own (depending on your bank, it'll take anywhere from 1-8 business days). If you're still unsure if your order was placed, send us an email at help@calpaks.com, and we'll look into it for you. -
My order was marked as delivered but I haven't received it yet.
We understand it's frustrating when you haven't received your order and the mail carrier says it's been delivered. We typically ask that our customers give the shipping carrier 2 business days for their order to arrive once it has been marked as delivered. We have noticed that there is sometimes a delay between the order being marked as delivered and when it is actually received.
If you still haven't received it after the 2 business days have passed, please reach out to help@calpaks.com for further assistance.

We're so sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, we are not able to file claims on packages that are stolen. We recommend reaching out to your local authorities.

How do I start the return process?
We understand that you can have a change of heart once you receive your order. You can begin the returns and exchange process by visiting the CALPAK Returns Page. From here you can choose if you want to exchange your item for a different color or size, a different product, or just a refund.
For exchanges, you can try a new color / style / size for any item when selecting which items you’re sending back. This is based on available inventory. If we have it in stock, we’ll ship the new color / size right away!
Final sale items are not eligible for returns, but are eligible for a one-time exchange. Please note, items purchased during our September Weekly Flash Sales or November Daily Deals are not eligible for exchanges. All sales are final.

What is your return policy?
We accept returns of unused items within 30 days of purchase.
Returned items cannot show any signs of use, wear, tear, marks, scratches, alterations, or any kind of damage. Products must
have their original packaging, shipping carton and any uncut hang tags. We reserve the right to reject any returned items with
personal items left inside the product, as it indicates signs of use.

While there is a flat-rate return shipping fee, we are happy to offer a one-time free exchange for contiguous US orders.

Do you issue refunds for returns?
You have the option to receive a refund to your original form of payment, or an Instant Refund Voucher to use immediately on calpaktravel.com. We issue refunds to your original form of payment as soon as we receive and approve your returned item. Once delivered, this process takes between 5-7 business days on our end.
If you received an item as a gift, refunds will be issued to the original purchase or if requested, store credit will be emailed to you. We are not able to offer refunds to anyone other than the original purchaser and their form of payment. -
Can I return my order placed through Facebook Shop or Instagram Shop?

California Residents - Proposition 65 Warning
Proposition 65 (Prop 65), the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a California law that requires the state to keep a list of chemicals that the State of California has identified may cause cancer or reproductive toxicity. There are now over 950 chemicals on the Prop 65 hazardous substances list. The full list can be found on the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) website.
As part of Prop 65, businesses selling products to people in California must provide “clear and reasonable warnings” before knowingly exposing people to any chemical on the list, unless the expected level of exposure would pose no significant cancer risk.
The law defines “no significant risk” as a level of exposure that would cause no more than 1 extra case of cancer in 100,000 people over a 70-year lifetime. So a compound can be unlabeled if a person exposed to the substance at the expected level for 70 years is estimated to have a 1 in 100,000 chance or less of getting cancer due to that exposure. The law also has similar strict cutoff levels for birth defects and reproductive harm.
There are many commonly used items that fall under Prop 65's mandates. Additionally, real estate properties are subject to California’s Prop 65 mandates due to the possibility of hazardous chemicals being present in the nearby environment. Some of the product categories sold in the State of California, and California locations that require California Prop 65 warning labels include:
products made with leather, vinyl, foam, synthetic and non-woven material, beauty products, glassware, ceramics, batteries, retail stores, etc.
All of CALPAK parts and fabrics are made from durable and safe materials, in full compliance with federal safety regulations. However, as there are many chemicals used throughout the manufacturing process, it is possible that our products may contain trace amounts of one or more of the 950+ chemicals on the California Proposition 65 warning list.
Prop 65 warning labels are primarily used in the sale of products to California residents. We attach one to our products no matter where they go to inform the consumer, even though by law we are not required to do so if the consumer lives outside of California. Proposition 65 is more of a “right to know” law than a pure product safety law. Voters who approved Proposition 65 in 1986 intended that Californians should have a right to know when they may be exposed to chemicals that cause cancer or reproductive harm. There are trace amounts of these chemicals in more products than you may know, but only in California it is a requirement to tell the consumer. What if my bag arrives damaged at baggage claim?
Our products are tested, tried and true. They are designed to withstand normal use, including regular handling by airlines. If the bag is damaged during transit, the airline is required to handle the damage claim. File one with them immediately. Each airline has different requirements - submitting a claim before you leave the premises, within a 24 hour window, etc—so be sure to make a claim right away.

How do I reset my lock?
Send a photo of your lock to help@calpaks.com. We’ll get back to you within 2 business days. If it’s urgent, we recommend trying all the combinations between 0-0-0 and 9-9-9. We promise it takes less time than you would think (we happen to know from experience).

I lost the key for my lock, what do I do?
TSA- approved combination locks may have keyholes, but they are for TSA use-only and keys are only provided to their staff. However, if your product came with a set of keys, contact us at warranty@calpaks.com with a photo of your lock.

How do I know if my lock is TSA-approved?
Locks approved by the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) feature a red diamond logo.
In the US, the TSA may open checked luggage as part of their security screening process. With a TSA-approved lock, the staff can open it with a key and lock your luggage after screening. If your luggage has a lock that is not approved by the TSA, it may be broken in the process. -

Do points expire?

Simply log into your account and go to the rewards tab. To redeem your points, you must be signed in.

How many points can I use on my order?
Once your order goes above the $50, you can use as many points as you like on your order. Please note, if you redeem your VIT points and your order total goes below the minimum threshold for free shipping, you will need to pay the cost of shipping. Unfortunately, VIT points cannot be applied to shipping costs.

What makes a successful referral?
When the person you refer to CALPAK makes a purchase of $150 or more, you’ll get a $25 worth of VIT points added to your account. Please note, it may take up to 48 hours for the points to be available on your account. If it’s been over 48 hours, then feel free to contact us. There’s no limit to how many people you refer, so keep spreading the word and earning credit! Giving is receiving!

Absolutely! Be sure to log into your VIT account before checking out. At any point during the checkout process, you can click the “show order summary” dropdown at the top of the page. Log into your VIT account, and click "rewards" on the left hand side. From there, you'll find the "refer a friend" section where you can obtain your referral link or send it out to your friends and family!

Does my purchase come with a warranty?
Yes, most of our products come with either 1, 2, or 5-year limited warranty. Please see the Product Guarantee page for more info.
Please note, if the exact make and model of your luggage is no longer available, CALPAK will replace your luggage with something comparable.

We encourage you to take advantage of our warranty registration process which will help make future warranty claims easier to process. Though not mandatory, we do require proof of purchase (we all know it's difficult to hold on to receipts for so long) to process a warranty claim to make life easier for future you! Do you offer replacement parts?
We only replace items with manufacturing defects, which do not include damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, improper care, negligence, accidents, or transport damage including those from the airline.
We send spare parts for easy repair issues. Here's more on that:
1. Most luggage can be easily repaired with a screwdriver and spare part. It's easy and usually takes less than 5 minutes.
2. Save time instead of waiting for your luggage to be returned to us. We can send you a spare part right away, which saves you weeks of waiting on repairs.
3. Repairing your luggage creates less waste! Instead of going into the trash, you can continue using your item.Please note, if the exact spare part is no longer available, CALPAK will do its best to provide you with a part that will maintain the functionality of the product. However, it may not be an exact match.

What qualifies as proof of purchase?
We accept order confirmation emails and photos of receipts as proof of purchase. Proof of purchase must include date of purchase in order to be approved.

Do I need to register for the warranty?
We made it easy for you, so no warranty registration is required, even with Extend. Extend will reach out to you directly via email with information regarding your contract, including the contract ID, coverage dates, contact information, and a link to the full terms and conditions.

What does the Extend Protection Plan with Accident Coverage cover?
Accidents happen, but don’t worry! Your bag is protected in case of accidental rips, tears and snags, broken zippers, broken wheels and handles, delamination, and seam separation for the term of your Extend protection plan. If your Extend plan’s term is longer than the manufacturer’s warranty, this plan also covers defects in workmanship and/or materials, including normal wear and tear. This plan does not cover theft or damage caused by abuse or misuse, so be kind to your stuff ;) You can find more details in the Protection Plan Terms below.

When does the Extend Protection Plan go into effect?
Accident protection plans work a little differently than standard extended warranties. Your accident protection through Extend begins as soon as your purchase Extend and lasts for the full term of the plan you selected. The coverage from defects in workmanship and/or materials, including normal wear and tear, starts after the manufacturer’s warranty expires.
Here's an example: Let's say that on January 1, 2021 you purchased a product with a one-year manufacturer's warranty along with a two-year accident protection plan from Extend. Extend would cover you for accidental damage from day one through January 1, 2023 (two total years). Your manufacturer's warranty would cover your product for manufacturing defects through January 1, 2022 (the first year), and then your Extend protection plan would protect you from defects in workmanship and/or materials after your manufacturer warranty expires through January 1, 2023 (the second year). -

What is the difference between CALPAK's Limited Warranty and the Extend Protection Plan with Accident Coverage?
The CALPAK 1 or 2-year Limited Warranty protects your product against defects in materials and workmanship. Extend Protection Plan with Accident Coverage plan provides additional coverage for everyday accidents that may occur. Extend also provides coverage for product defects, once the Limited Warranty expires.
