I really wasn’t in the market to buy a new set of luggage. I just wanted the hard shell carry-on bag since airlines seem to be coming down hard on expandable, soft, carry-on bags.
I read an article on the top 10 luggage manufacturers. I already had pieces of the number one suggested luggage that I really don’t care for. So I decided to try. CalPak. Honestly I’m very surprised that CalPak did not receive the number one rating. But then again, it’s just one article.
I ended up buying all three pieces because the price was so good. I bought the rose gold color. After receiving these pieces and seeing the quality, I went back online and bought the Stevyn duffel bag and the tech organizer. I posted a picture of the duffel bag on top of the largest piece of luggage. I love using the packing cubes, which I already have. I can fit all a lot of things in all three pieces of luggage without going over the weight limit. That being said, the large baits own. I was a little concerned at first, but then I weighed my soft cloth bags. The soft cloth bags are almost as heavy when empty. So to me, this is not an issue since I like the idea that the luggage is so sturdy
and a hard shell.
The quality of this luggage is amazing. I love the way the wheels roll and can turn corners. The telescope handles are durable not flimsy. And I find that I’m able to fit a lot of things inside of each bag. I definitely am a person who over packs. So I find the space more than adequate. I highly recommend this…
Such a great deal, haven’t used them yet however so far I am impressed by the quality and features. Can’t wait to use this set on my next trip!
Awesome! Good quality!
My husband bought me this luggage set for Christmas in anticipation of a vacation. We were going to California in February. As we were walking into the airport, my husband dropped the larger piece of luggage down (what has to be) the longest escalator in the state of Arkansas. While we were fortunate enough that no one was in front or harmed when the incident occurred. The piece of luggage slid, flipped, and slid again all the way down to the very bottom with handle up the entire way down. ***cue flames coming out of my ears*** While we watch the luggage take flight across the Little Rock Airport. My husband jokes and says, “Well this is going to be a really good or a really bad review.” The noise of the luggage soaring down the escalator to then take flight once it hit the carpet to then slam into the wall, I knew some damage would be done. While there were a few nicks it was not near as bad as expected. The real test was finally opening it up when we made it to the hotel. It was genuinely as if it had never been touched!!! Not a thing out of place or broken as I opened those zippers in nothing short of fear. I was so amazed! When I say our luggage took flight, I honestly mean it took FLIGHG. At least 25-30 MPH. To the point that a gentleman from 8 baggage claims carousels away came to check on our safety. Calpak if you are looking for a commercial ad in the future please contact the Little Rock Airport for video surveillance. If you have actually read this far this is…
