Pros and Cons
The rosewood tie-dye is a beautiful cool pink color (there wasn't an option to select this color in the review). It's hard to find joggers these days that feel both soft and sturdy, and don't contain fabrics that will pill easily or irritate sensitive skin. The cropped length is great for a more petite person, and the smooth banding at the leg opening makes it look modern and doesn't scratch the way a scrunched elastic band might.
Following the helpful advice of customer service and online feedback, I went up one size to accommodate for the waistband running small. This worked out well, though the rest of the pant did end up being looser than I expected. Still, I thought they'd be good for vegetating at home.
I've had the joggers for 3 weeks now. Wear them around the house about 2 days per week, and washed once separately with cold water and hung dry. Grabbed them up to wear today and found tears starting along the seam of the seat. It was surprising because I haven't had them long and take pretty good care of my clothes. The hip/rear area is very loose on me so there should only be minimal stretching/tension. The wear is something I would have maybe expected to find in pants at least 6 years old.
I ordered them on final sale though so there's no helping that. My overall Calpak shopping experience was positive, but if you're thinking about getting the relaxed french terry joggers, just keep in mind that long term durability could be a potential issue.
